Workers at Amazon’s Staten Island warehouse have elected a new slate of union leaders as they seek to win a collective bargaining agreement.
Reform candidate Connor Spence and his allies won every seat by a sizable margin, though the results still need to be certified, he said in an interview Thursday. About 250 people cast ballots in the mail-in election that ended Wednesday, Spence said—about 4.5% of the roughly 5,500 ballots sent out.
The change in leadership comes as Amazon Labor Union looks to turn the page on internal disputes and expand its reach. The independent union in June joined .
