- Accelerated BSN pathway applicants must have an earned bachelor's degree or they must be in the process of completing their Bachelor's degree at the time of application. Conditional admission is offered to qualified applicants pursuant to the successful completion of the Bachelor's degree. Official transcripts must be provided prior to the semester start date.

Notification of Acceptance into BSN Program
- BSN Program acceptance decisions will be made approximately 12 weeks after the application deadline.
- Applicants will be notified by FGCU Eagle Email. Please check that your Eagle Mail email is active.
- Students who are not accepted into the program must re-apply as applications are not moved on to the next admission cycle.

- Submit a FGCU Application for university admission and satisfy all applicable university admission requirements.
- Submit a completed School of Nursing B.S.N. supplemental application in NursingCAS.
- Have and maintain, prior to B.S.N. Program admission, a minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0 on all coursework attempted.
- Complete common prerequisites for nursing, with a grade of C or higher. Students who have not completed all required coursework at the time of B.S.N. Program application must include a plan for completion of the course(s) as part of the School of Nursing B.S.N. supplemental application. A final transcript documenting successful completion of the course(s) must be submitted to Undergraduate Admissions.
- Complete Anatomy & Physiology I with Lab and Anatomy & Physiology II with Lab prior to the School of Nursing B.S.N. supplemental application deadline.
- Complete the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) prior to the School of Nursing B.S.N. supplemental application deadline, with scores calculated for B.S.N. Program applicants. The original (first-attempt) TEAS exam results must be submitted as part of the School of Nursing B.S.N. supplemental application.
- Applicants who have attended, but not completed, another registered nursing program must provide a letter of good standing from the Dean of the School of Nursing (or designee) that addresses the following: potential for success in a B.S.N. program, safety in providing nursing care, interpersonal communication skills, and other information the director deems important. B.S.N. applicants from an accredited baccalaureate B.S.N. program must also submit course syllabi and topical outlines for all nursing courses to be evaluated for nursing equivalency.
