STS is a shared-ride public transportation service of Miami-Dade County in compliance with the complementary paratransit service provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.
STS offers door-to-door transportation service from the main entrance of pick-up to the main entrance of drop-off locations. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be used throughout most of Miami-Dade County.
The cost per trip is $3.50.
Determination of eligibility will be provided via regular mail within 21 days.
The fee is $3.50 per one-way trip, as well as for companions. Personal Care Attendants ride free and must be pre-certified. Prepaid vouchers can also be purchased in advance by calling the STS Reservations Line. Certified STS riders can use Metrobus and Metrorail free of charge.
If denied eligibility, you can appeal by mail within 60 days to the Office of Civil Rights and Labor Relations.
Submitting additional medical documentation does not constitute a request for appeal.
The first STS quarterly meeting of 2024 will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 23, from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. The meeting will be held in the 1st floor training room of the Overtown Transit Village - North building, located at 701 NW 1 Ct., Miami, FL 33136.
